The Suzio York Hill Companies have a long history and deep roots in the Connecticut business community as well as national trade associations. The Suzio family has always believed that close links and direct ties with business, social, civic and trade associations benefit both the company and the community. Suzio York Hill is proud of its affiliation with the following organizations:

• Build With Strength, a coalition of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, advocates for and educates the building and design communities and policymakers on the benefits of ready mixed concrete.

• The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce, founded in Meriden, Connecticut in 1896, is an independent, private, not for profit membership service organization providing 112 years of service to the greater Meriden community.

• The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, founded in October of 1895, has provided over 100 years of service to businesses throughout Middlesex County.

• The Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization dedicated to business development in North Haven and Wallingford, Connecticut through member events and activities.

• The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce supports South Central Connecticut businesses with networking and consulting, leadership training programs, resources, and community development.

• The Connecticut Construction Industry Association, formed over 40 years ago, is an association of associations, where all sectors of the commercial construction industry work together to advance and promote Connecticut's construction industry.

• The Connecticut Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s mission is to promote the use of ready mixed concrete and innovative construction products and technologies.

• The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, founded in 1930, is the leading industry advocate. Our mission is to provide exceptional value for our members by responsibly representing and serving the entire ready mixed concrete industry through leadership, promotion, education and partnering to ensure ready mixed concrete is the building material of choice.

• The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association represents the crushed stone, sand and gravel-or aggregates-industries. Our member companies produce more than 92% of the crushed stone and 75% of the sand and gravel consumed annually in the United States.

• The Home Builders Association of Connecticut represents the home building, land development and remodeling industry in Connecticut.

• The American Concrete Institute International, founded in 1904 and headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is advancing concrete knowledge by conducting 125 seminars annually, managing 14 different certification programs, publishing hundreds of technical documents, and offering scholarships to students in the field.

• The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History – The Rocks Gallery is a database that can be explored for records of gems, minerals, rocks, volcanoes and meteorites.
