Matthew from Portland Troop 2 took the initiative to make a positive impact in his community by reaching out to Suzio York Hill for the Eagle Scout Project. His goal was to construct four picnic tables, each with four cement slabs, at a brand new park in Portland, CT, that will benefit families. By providing a place for parents to watch their children play sports or have a family gathering, Matthew's project will enhance the overall experience of the new Portland park. He requested a donation of five yards of concrete, which Suzio York Hill provided. Matthew was able to move forward with his vision and made a difference in his community.
