When looking to reduce the formation of settlement cracks and shrinking in the initial phase of the setting process, fibermesh fibers are where to turn. This product discourages the concrete ingredients from segregating, and adds tensile strain capacity to a surface on which concrete has just been applied. These reactions caused by the fibers are what help the concrete to reach its fullest potential in terms of strength and aesthetic finish.

Depending on structural requirements, fibers can sometimes be used instead of or in combination with welded wire fabric to reinforce a ready-mix product without the use of fabrication or formation. In turn, fibers can minimize labor along with in-place costs. Quicker and easier construction also accelerates a pouring schedule, and allows the job to get done with the use of common tools as any remnants of the additive are quickly worn away by vehicle or foot traffic.
